Second Life on LaSalle: Adaptive Reuse Tour

Join us for a guided tour exploring key redevelopment sites along LaSalle Street, featuring insights from project leaders and exclusive access to historic buildings.

The 2025 LAI Summer Walking Tour includes stops and commentary at:

2:30 PM – Daley Plaza
Meeting Point & Opening Remarks at Daley Plaza for opening remarks by Cindy DeMuth, providing an overview of the LaSalle Street Initiative and the day’s tour stops.

3:00 PM – Thompson Center (Southeast Corner at Randolph & Clark)
Site Overview & Remarks at the exterior plaza of the Thompson Center for remarks from Prime Group.

3:30 PM – 30 N. LaSalle
Presentation & Visuals at the building lobby for a presentation of redevelopment plans and renderings, led by Lee Golub.

4:15 PM – 135 S. LaSalle
Guided Building Tour of this redevelopment project, led by Mike Potter of Riverside.

5:00 – 6:30 PM – 208 S. LaSalle
Reception at The LaSalle Hotel post-tour reception in the Solarium Room, located on the 15th floor of The LaSalle Hotel, adjacent to the lounge.

MEMBER SUPPORT FUND

The LAI Chicago Region Chapter Member Support Fund is available to members who serve nonprofit organizations, public agencies, academic institutions, or those who in a professional employment transition to help offset the cost of attendance at chapter events and membership dues. The goal of the fund is to make Chapter events and activities more accessible and encourage attendance and engagement. In some instances, guests of members may also be eligible to receive these funds.
